On the occasion of International Vyshyvanka Day, a special atmosphere filled with warmth, creativity, and genuine inspiration prevailed at the Chaya Mushka Schneerson Humanitarian Academic Lyceum.

It was a day when traditions came alive through stories, emotions, and creativity. The students shared family stories connected with their vyshyvankas, tested their knowledge in an engaging quiz, created their own traditional embroidery patterns, and recited poems that touched the heart.

The event was led by the Lyceum Director, Iryna Fedorenko, who invited everyone to see the vyshyvanka from a new perspective — as a symbol that unites generations, preserves memory, and helps us feel part of a great shared history.

A vyshyvanka is much more than a beautiful garment or a festive outfit. It reflects our character, culture, and the unique code of the Ukrainian nation — a heritage we proudly wear and pass on to future generations.
